Wisconsin

This article from Slate underscores an important point I should have addressed in my last post: the more we begin to think Obama is inevitable, the bigger the shock will be if and when Hillary Clinton has a strong showing. Since she has convinced everyone she is writing Wisconsin off, a victory there would do wonders for her campaign.

Yeah, but I don't think Tommy Thompson and narrow Democratic Presidential Margins equate anything more than an occasional tip of the hat to Kim Campbell. Plus, even if Feingold is sometimes miserly withe the federal budget, the fact that they elected him in the first place is a remarkable stroke of liberalism.

Obviously, Obama should divert most of his resources to Wisconsin at the moment, but I won't be worried about anything until March.

My guess is that he pulls it off. But I am a bit worried that everyone seems to be assuming he will crush Clinton, when that's probably not going to happen.

yes, and I think you are correct in saying that he probably will not crush Clinton. It's best not to fall prey to hubris in this situation.
